Presentation of the Rome schools that take part in RoSaCe

Istituto comprensivo “Alfieri – Lante della rovere”
Public school, located in Rome’s historical centre, in an area with many public offices and embassies and very much road traffic and illegal parking in front of the school, but close to public transportation.Three classes participate to RoSaCe project - class II A, class II B, class III C, all part of the primary school, for a total of 67 pupils, 7/8/9 years old – with 3 teachers as referents and 3 teachers as assistants, responsible for all educational areas. The school headmistress is involved in managing the process and periodically monitoring the different phases.As the other schools, the comprehensive institute Alfieri – Lante della Rovere has been chosen because it is part of the “walking schoolbus” project, an important initiative of street safety and road safety supported by the City of Rome.

Istituto comprensivo “Via dell’archeologia”
Public school, located in Rome’s outskirts, outside the city’s ring road, in a residential area that is mostly a dormitory neighbourhood, with very few services, big roads, fast traffic, but close to public transportation.Two classes participate to RoSaCe project - class IV B, class IV E, part of the primary school, for a total of 34 pupils, 9/10 years old – with 6 teachers as assistants, responsible for all educational areas. The school headmistress is involved in managing the process and periodically monitoring the different phases.As the other schools, the comprehensive institute Via dell’Archeologia has been chosen because it is part of the “walking schoolbus” project, an important initiative of street safety and road safety supported by the City of Rome.

Istituto comprensivo “Leopardi - Via parco della vittoria”
Public school, located in Rome, in a residential area with many services and large green areas, and close to public transportation.One class participates to RoSaCe project - class IIB part of the primary school, for a total of 22 pupils, 8/9 years old – with 2 teachers as assistants, responsible for science and language educational areas. The school headmistress is involved in managing the process and periodically monitoring the different phases.As the other schools, the comprehensive institute Via dell’Archeologia has been chosen because it is part of the “walking schoolbus” project, an important initiative of street safety and road safety supported by the City of Rome.
